Class 2 Skip Driver - Waste Management

We are recruiting for a Class 2 Skip Driver to join a waste management company based in Cumbernauld. This role involves delivering and collecting skips across local sites, ensuring safe and efficient service at all times. It suits someone dependable, safety-conscious and confident working in a fast-paced environment.

Your Time at Work
* Driving a Class 2 skip vehicle to deliver and collect skips
* Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
* Placing skips safely at customer and site locations
* Ensuring all loads are secure and compliant with regulations
* Completing delivery notes and relevant paperwork accurately
* Providing a professional service when dealing with customers
* Following all road and site health and safety procedures

Our Perfect Worker
* Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
* Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
* Previous skip or waste industry experience preferred
* Good awareness of road safety and site operations
* Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
* Able to work independently and manage time effectively
* Good customer service and communication skills
* Flexible approach to duties and working hours

Key Information and Benefits
* Based in Cumbernauld
* Monday to Friday working pattern
* 6:00am start time
* Overtime available after 8 hours
* Full-time, ongoing work
