Trade Waste Driver

We are recruiting for a Class 2 Trade Waste Driver to join a waste management company based in Cumbernauld. This role involves the collection of trade waste from commercial customers, ensuring a reliable and professional service at all times. It suits someone organised, safety-conscious and comfortable working to schedules.

Your Time at Work
* Driving a Class 2 vehicle to collect trade waste from customer sites
* Following planned routes and schedules efficiently
* Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
* Handling bins and waste containers in line with safe working practices
* Ensuring all collections are completed and recorded accurately
* Providing a professional and courteous service to customers
* Adhering to all road and site health and safety regulations

Our Perfect Worker
* Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
* Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
* Previous trade waste or multi-drop experience preferred
* Good knowledge of road safety and compliance
* Reliable, punctual and able to manage time effectively
* Comfortable with manual handling duties
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Flexible approach to duties and working hours

Key Information and Benefits
* Based in Cumbernauld
* Monday to Friday working pattern (occasional Saturdays paid as OT)
* 6:00am start time
* Overtime available after 8 hours, paid at 1.33 x hourly rate
* Full-time, ongoing work
