Our client is currently recruiting a Production Team Leader who will lead their production department to produce finished goods to the agreed specifications and standards and achieve the daily planned output within the estimated labour hours.
Responsibilities
- Ownership and accountability of production line
- Achieve daily planned target outputs for the line
- Monitor quality throughout production controlling waste levels on the line
- Accurate record keeping of production outputs, waste, and stock
- Good communication ensuring adequate training is carried out with all employees on the line
- Encourage a one team approach where employees treat each other with dignity and respect
- Support on the production lines alongside colleagues
- Ensure high quality and housekeeping standards at all times
- Encourage and demonstrate a zero-harm culture where health, safety and wellbeing in the
workplace is our number one priority
Experience/Skills
- Manufacturing/Production experience
- Quality experience
- Willingness to learn and progress with the job
- Good communication skills
- Works well under pressure and maintains a positive attitude
- Flexible
