Telehandler

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Telehandler Operator to support our client in Galashiels. This is a part-time, long-term opportunity offering 1 day per week for an initial period of 6 months, with potential to extend up to 1 year.

This role is ideal for someone looking for consistent, flexible work and who has a valid Telehandler licence. 

This position is paid PAYE, and you will be employed via the agency, with an hourly rate of £15 - £16 per hour.

Your Time at Work

As Telehandler Operative, you will be required to:

• Support the different departments across GCU including Utilities, Telecommunications, Civil Engineering and Traffic Management
• Adhere to Health & Safety practices at all times
• Operate a telehandler safely and efficiently

Our Perfect Worker

Holds a valid, current telehandler licence (CPCS/NPORS or equivalent)

• Has hands-on experience operating a telehandler on-site or in a yard
• Demonstrates high safety awareness
• Is reliable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision
• Willing to assist with general yard duties and stock preparation
