Our client has an ongoing temporary opportunity for a Chemical Process Operator to work in their state of the art manufacturing site in Dalry. Your Time at Work Initially training will begin on a day shift for a number of weeks prior to moving to a continental shift pattern which will require a degree of flexibility. Day shift for training will be 07.45 - 16.00 Monday - Thursday and 07.45 - 14.30 on Friday. Continental shifts will operate on a 4 on 4 off basis of 2 x 12 hour days followed by 2 x 12 hour nights the 4 days off. This pattern will involve significant weekend working. Our Perfect Worker This role is likely to involve the setting and operation of an automated bagging plant and the use of mechanical handling equipment. There can also be periods of significant manual handling. Candidates should ideally have worked in a similar process environment and have a flexible approach to shift and weekend working.
