This role is being advertised by Brightwork who are recruiting for our Prestigious Education Sector client based in Edinburgh and we require a Temporary Caretaker / Facilities Asst for our clients site. Please note this roles require membership of the PVG Scheme to work in regulated sites.
Your Time at Work
Caretaker / Facilities Asst Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean, safe working environment and understand all cleaning materials and chemicals used.
- Ensure low level maintenance, cleaning, security, and safety of school premises and grounds.
- Respond to helpdesk jobs, unlock/lock buildings, and carry out porterage and room setups.
- Perform PPM tasks including fire alarm tests, emergency light checks
This role is on a rotational 4 shift system Monday to Friday:
0700-1600 / 0630-1530 / 0730-1630 / 1400-2200

- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Willing to complete PVG Check
