We are working with a growing B2B solutions provider to recruit an Outbound Sales Team Manager. The business supports commercial customers across multiple sectors with operational and value-added services.
This is a leadership role for an experienced B2B sales professional to manage a high-performing outbound sales team and drive new business acquisition across the UK.
About the Role
The Outbound Sales Team Manager will lead and coach a team focused on B2B client acquisition, managing pipeline development, structured outbound strategies, and consultative sales processes. You will also support complex deals and ensure high team performance while driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of outbound sales agents
- Drive new business acquisition targeting SMEs and corporate clients
- Implement structured outbound strategies, including cold calling and lead follow-up
- Coach the team on consultative selling and engaging decision-makers
- Monitor pipeline health, conversion rates, and sales performance metrics
- Support commercial negotiations and complex deals
- Work closely with marketing and lead generation functions to optimise opportunities
- Analyse sales data to improve performance across sectors
KPIs
- New B2B business revenue
- Pipeline value and conversion rates
- Average deal size and margin
- Sales cycle length and activity metrics
- Customer lifetime value and retention
Requirements
- Proven experience managing B2B outbound sales teams
- Strong track record in new business acquisition and pipeline management
- Experience selling into SMEs and corporate clients
- Skilled in consultative and solution-based selling
- Confident engaging senior stakeholders and decision-makers
- Experience with CRM systems and structured sales processes
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
