Brightwork Recruitment is excited to announce an opening for a Stores Person on behalf of our client located in Nairn, serving wider Scotland as well as the Highlands and Islands. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and organised individual with experience in a warehouse or stores environment to join a busy operational team in a full-time, permanent position.
The successful candidate will report to the Warehouse, Stores & Yard Supervisor and will be instrumental in maintaining an organised warehouse and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of stores and logistics. This role will also include a hands-on component.
Your time at work
- Process and restock returned (unused) materials
- Pick and pack internal parts requests from a wide variety of components
- Receive and accurately process incoming deliveries and documentation
- Pack and prepare outgoing shipments
- Assist with cyclic stock takes and maintain accurate stock records
- Help maintain a clean, tidy, and organised warehouse environment
- Provide general warehouse and logistical support as required
Our Perfect Worker
- Previous stores or warehouse experience (2+ years preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Comfortable using computer systems and Microsoft software
- Ability to operate warehouse stock systems using handheld or desktop devices
- Experience with Sage 200 or a similar stock management system
- Forklift certificate and driving licence would be advantageous
