On behalf of a client, who are a specialist national manufacturer based in Eurocentral area, we are seeking a forklift driver to join their despatch team with an excellent chance to go permanent in due course.
Your Time at Work
Role involves operating a counterbalance forklift truck for the majority of the shift.
Moving palletised stock from the production area to storage.
Loading and unloading trailers
Taking goods-in and recording raw materials entering the warehouse.
Ensuring safety and meeting quality standards
Our Perfect Worker
Previous experience in a busy distribution centre or manufacturing warehouse is desirable
Forklift licence must be current / refreshed in the UK in the last 3 years.
Comfortable working near machinery
Reliable and committed to working a rotating shift pattern
Own transport may be required due to location and shifts.
Key Information and Benefits
Rotating shift pattern of 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm, Monday to Friday
Immediate Starts
£12.84 per hr, starting pay rate - with a new pay raise to be announced asap.
Regular overtime available and paid at 1.5x & 2x.
Full 40 hours paid weekly
