The role – Shift Warehouse Manager

You will have a challenging, variable and highly rewarding role leading and managing an extensive shift-based workforce within a fast-moving warehousing operation.

Your role duties and responsibilities will include;

  • Leading and managing all operational activities to ensure the highest standards of service provision are delivered at all times
  • Leading and managing all operational activities to meet company targets in relation to quality, delivery and cost
  • Working closely with all internal and external stakeholder groups to ensure continuous improvement activities across warehouse and associated operations
  • Recruitment, mentoring and development of Team Leaders and respective teams of operational staff
  • Manage and control materials supply ensuring consistent availability to meet all operational requirements
  • Ensure the highest standards of work environment and health and safety is maintained at all times

You will have an in-depth background and experience managing all areas of Warehousing and Logistics operations within a high-volume fast paced warehousing environment. You will be a natural people leader and have led and supported lean / continuous improvement activities across all areas of operational activities. Possessing excellent written and verbal communication skills, you will have first class customer facing experience and be well versed leading and managing volume warehousing operations.
