The role – Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Manager

An experienced EC&I Manager, you will have a highly varied and challenging role and will be responsible for delivering professional EC&I Engineering services across all sitewide plant, equipment and operational activities.

Your wide-ranging duties and responsibilities will include;

  • Ensuring sitewide Electrical, Control and Instrumentation effectively meet all organisational production requirements
  • Providing specialist EC&I technical support to all existing and new plant and equipment
  • Lead and manage all EC&I CAPEX Projects and Programmes including budgetary and P & L control
  • Recruitment, mentoring and development of EC&I and associated staff
  • Maintaining and upgrading the site Programmable Electronic Systems (PES)
  • Responding to and managing hardware and software problems associated with site plant, equipment and systems
  • Ensure all site EC&I equipment meets company, client and regulatory manufacturing requirements
  • Implement, lead and manage instrument and maintenance plans
  • Liaise with all relevant internal and external stakeholder groups in relation to ensuring all systems, processes and procedures are effectively maintained and developed
  • Lead and support EC&I continuous improvement activities

Ideally min Degree qualified within a relevant Engineering discipline (Electrical/Electronics/ Software Engineering), you will have a wealth of proven experience as an Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Manager within a highly regulated environment. You will be responsible for managing sitewide Controls and Instrumentation plant and equipment. You will have an in-depth working knowledge of PES and PLC control systems and be well versed in developing EC&I to meet company, customer and industry requirements.
