The Role – Production / Manufacturing Team Leader
You will be responsible for leading a production team in a highly regulated production environment, overseeing throughput from material receipting to final assembly and test, ensuring quality, on-time delivery, and adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a production section to meet company and client daily output, quality, and cost targets.
- Oversee assembly, testing and packaging of products
- Conduct production activities in line with company, client and industry / regulatory requirements
- Recruitment, mentoring and development of operational staff
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise productivity and reduce waste.
- Monitor performance metrics and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
- Liaise with all internal stakeholders to manage materials and inventory effectively
Ideally min HNC qualified within an engineering discipline, you will have a wealth of proven experience effectively managing teams within a high volume, highly regulated manufacturing / production environment. You will have held responsibility for leading and managing production teams and additionally ensuring production equipment is available to meet all production throughput requirements. In addition, you should possess strong organisational, coaching, and communication skills, be methodical, detail-oriented and committed to high standards of quality and safety.
