Our client is a manufacturer of products to the FMCG industry and they have a requirement for machine operators to work in their site in Kilmarnock. These roles while starting on a temporary basis are likely to go temporary to permanent in due course.
Your Time at Work
Initially you will work on a day shift basis 08.00 - 16.00 Monday - Friday (37.5 hours).
In time it's likely you will move to a continental shift pattern 3 x 12 hour shifts/ week rotating between day shift and night shift on a weekly basis. (36 hours per week)
Our Perfect Worker
The successful candidate is likely to have worked in the manufacturing industry, ideally with some machine operation experience.
The job will involve setting and operating fast moving equipment and some visual inspection of product. This role will require excellent attention to detail.
There will be some manual handling involved in the position.
Key Information and Benefits
Initially this will start on a temporary basis but ultimately the client will be looking to take people from temporary to permanent in due course.
Day shift rate is £12.40/ hour. Continental rate is £14.02/ hour.
