We are currently seeking an experienced Forklift Truck Driver to join the team of our highly regarded client within the whisky industry, based in the Dumbarton area. This is a full-time, ongoing temporary position with an immediate start available, offering an excellent opportunity to work with a prestigious brand in a well-established, professional environment.
Your Time at Work
As an Forklift Truck Driver, you will play a key role in supporting warehouse and production operations. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Operating Counterbalance and/or Reach Forklift Trucks to safely transport whisky products and materials.
- Loading and unloading deliveries, packaging materials, and finished goods.
- Assisting with general warehouse duties, including picking, packing, and inventory control.
- Adhering to strict health & safety and hygiene protocols, especially within production and storage areas.
- Collaborating closely with warehouse and production teams to maintain efficient workflow and on-time operations.
Our Perfect Worker
The ideal candidate will be a reliable and safety-conscious individual with a solid background in warehouse or production environments. You'll take pride in working efficiently, maintaining attention to detail, and supporting your team.
Key qualities and experience include:
- A valid FLT licence (RTITB or ITSSAR accredited).
- Previous experience in operating FLT within a warehouse or production setting. Experience in loading would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of bonded warehouse operations and compliance (preferred but not essential).
- A strong commitment to safety and product care.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Own transport to travel to and from site.

Shift patterns available:
- Weekend Shift: Friday, Saturday & Sunday - 06:00 to 18:20
- Night Shift: Monday to Thursday - 23:30 to 06:00
