Brightwork have an excellent opportunity available for a Compliance & Vetting Specialist to join our global client on an ongoing temporary basis.

With offices in both Inverness and Nairn, you will complete 4 weeks training within the office before moving to a hybrid model with 1 day per week in the office.

Please note that due to the nature of this role, the successful candidates will be required to complete BPSS & SC level clearance ahead of their start date.

Working within the busy Vetting Team, you will be responsible for processing vetting applications for applicants joining high-profile clients.

Duties will include:

- Liaising with applicants to discuss vetting process, requirements and answer any questions or queries
- Processing, managing and tracking vetting applications via internal systems and portals
- Chasing and verifying employment references
- Processing Disclosure Scotland/DBS checks
- Liaising with 3rd parties to conduct credit, financial and additional checks


The successful candidate will:

- Have excellent organisational skills, be able to manage your time and tasks effectively
- Have great communication skills and be confident liaising with contacts across all levels over the telephone, emails and MS Teams
- Be naturally analytical and be confident working with volumes of data
- Understand that this is a learning process and not be afraid to ask for help and advice
- Be confident working with all MS Office packages and be able to pick up new systems and processes with ease
