Brightwork recruitment are currently recruiting for mill operators to join our client. A well known and successful timber merchant based in Grangemouth.

Your Time at Work
Shift pattern would be Backshift

Day shift - 14:00 - 22:00 Mon - Thur
14:00 - 21:00 Fri

39 hours per week

:

- Work to all Safe System of Work and Risk Assessments.
- Unwrap, de-band and prepare incoming packs of timber in readiness for use by
the Machinist / Sawyer to ensure efficient throughput of timber.
- Unload and stack timber from machines to ensure a quality product is presented
to the customer in a safe and acceptable manner.
- Wrap and strap completed timber packs to ensure safe transportation and to
maintain quality.
- Advice the Machinist / Sawyer of any quality concerns regarding the timber
produced, as shown in the quality documents, to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Keep a good, clean and safe working environment by use of good housekeeping
techniques, to ensure quality of product and the safety of people working on or
around your area.
