HGV Mechanic required for a 6 months fixed term contract working with a local authority in south Glasgow.
Your Time at Work
You will be responsible for carrying out various aspects of vehicle maintenance, MOT preparation, fabrication, brake testing and scheduled servicing, using variety of tools and the latest technology.
Our Perfect Worker
We are looking for someone who has experience of working as an HGV Technician within the private or public sector or possibly for HM Forces.
Open to a fixed term contract
Class C HGV driving license
Time served with qualifications in HGV vehicle maintenance
Ability to work unsupervised with the flexibility to undertake a wide range of tasks
Key Information and Benefits
37 hours paid weekly
Mon-Fri day shift starting at 7:30am
Working with an experienced team as well as on your own initiative
Pay rate is negotiable depending on experience and meets the current market rates.
