This is an outstanding opportunity with our specialist manufacturing client to co-ordinate and manage both internal and external resources to ensure the successful delivery of profitable spare parts orders for SW Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.

The role - Technical Spare Parts Sales Professional

Working within a dynamic and fast paced environment, you will have a varied and challenging role supporting a global client base in the sourcing, management and co-ordination of specialist spare parts for bespoke industrial plant and equipment.

Your duties and responsibilities will include;

  • Sourcing, order and management of Spare parts for a global client base
  • Ensure spares parts provision meets all company targets in relation to quality, delivery and cost
  • Ensure spares parts provision meets company, client and industry / regulatory requirements
  • Prepare and submit quotations to customers for "daily" spare parts, review drawings, manuals or previous quotations to understand the customers' needs, interrogate SAP for part number information, use SAP to generate the quote.
  • Prepare and submit recommended/critical/commissioning spare part lists as required by Project Management Team.
  • Build and maintain first class relationships with all internal and external stakeholder groups
  • Maintain and document all sales within the current file structure for the Spare Parts team in a timely manner.

Ideally degree qualified or possessing a similar educational qualification, you will have an in-depth background and experience managing all elements of Spare Parts sales and provision within a manufacturing or associated environment. You will be able to demonstrate previous experience in spare parts sourcing, order and logistics management on a global supply basis. You will be well versed liaising with both client and supplier stakeholder groups to source and supply bespoke spares, ideally for industrial plant and equipment. You will have first class communication skills, verbal and written, with excellent attention to detail. An ability to read and interpret parts drawings would be a distinct advantage. Previous experience utilising SAP preferred.
