Job Title: PMO Analyst

Overview:

We're seeking a highly organised PMO Analyst to support the successful delivery of complex engineering projects. This role will be central to ensuring governance structures are implemented effectively, with a strong focus on project controls, risk management, cost tracking, and administrative coordination. Working closely with project teams, external partners, and key stakeholders, you'll help maintain project alignment, transparency, and compliance across all phases of delivery.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Governance Support: Assist in establishing and maintaining programme/project governance frameworks to ensure consistency and control across all initiatives.

     

  • Communication & Reporting: Design and maintain a structured reporting framework to facilitate clear communication, escalation routes, and informed decision-making.

     

  • Document Preparation: Prepare high-quality reports, A3 summaries, and SteerCo presentation materials in line with governance requirements.

     

  • Digital File Management: Maintain an organised file structure on Microsoft Teams and SharePoint, ensuring controlled access and audit compliance.

     

  • Project Scheduling: Support the development and monitoring of project schedules, highlighting risks or delays and feeding them into governance processes.

     

  • Risk & Issue Management: Track risks and issues raised through the governance structure, update risk registers, and ensure follow-through on mitigations.

     

  • Cost Reporting: Work closely with Programme and Project Managers to gather and consolidate cost data, ensuring accurate reporting across internal and external stakeholders.

     

  • Change Management: Maintain project change logs and collaborate with package leads to identify, track, and document scope changes.

Skills & Experience:

  • Relevant experience in PMO or project coordination roles within engineering, construction, or infrastructure sectors is highly desirable.

    Proven experience supporting project delivery, ideally within an engineering or technical project environment.

     

  • Strong understanding of project governance, risk management, and change control processes.

     

  • Skilled in using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Microsoft Project (or similar tools).

     

  • Able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.

     

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

     

 

Education & Qualifications:

  • Degree or diploma in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.

     

  • Relevant experience in PMO or project coordination roles within engineering, construction, or infrastructure sectors is highly desirable.
