Senior Transport Controller

Brightwork are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, for a Senior Transport Controller. This would be a full time, permanent position based out of the company’s site in the Edinburgh area.

Becoming a vital member of the team you will be tasked with liaising with drivers and customers, planning routes and dealing with Transport issues.

This is a Monday – Friday role 08:00 – 17:00. However, additional hours may be required to meet business needs.

Main Responsibilities:

• Planning and confirming routes.
• Liaising with drivers
• Management of drivers
• Conducting investigations and dealing with compliance issues
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
• Assisting traffic coordinators
• Maintaining CRM system.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Experience working within a Transport Department
• CPC is highly desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• IT literacy
