Contract Project Engineer - 1 year contract

The role – Project Engineer (1-year Fixed Term Contract)

You will have a dynamic and varied role and will be responsible for undertaking all elements of Project Engineering to meet the dynamic demands of the global drinks sector

You will have a highly varied range of duties and responsibilities and will have ownership for providing CAPEX Project support to a range of manufacturing sites including distillation, brewing, spirits and maturation warehousing. You will assume responsibility for a range of simultaneously running projects, your duties and responsibilities including

• Managing projects from initial concept through all stages to completion, commissioning and successful operations
• Undertaking project assessment, estimation, award and on-going management and development
• Managing all projects to meet company targets in terms of quality, delivery and cost
• Ensuring all projects meet strict timescales highlighting any on-going project risks and managing deadlines accordingly
• Liaising with and managing multiple internal and external stakeholder groups
• Assessment, selection and management of all contractors and sub-contractors

Ideally degree qualified within either a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering discipline, you will have a wealth of experience as a Project Engineer and ideally with direct experience within the Drinks, FMCG, Pharma or associated sectors. You will be able to demonstrate successful stage-gate project management of multiple simultaneously running projects from initial project inception through all stages to completion, commission, and operation, managing all operational, commercial and budgetary requirements. You will have a working knowledge and experience of the latest CDM regulations and additionally of DSEAR, HAZOPs, LOPA's, PUWER, SIL, SIS systems & P&IDs.
