Senior NPD Technologist

Brightwork are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading player within the FMCG industry for a Senior NPD Technologist. This would be a full time, permanent position based out of the company’s site in South Lanarkshire.

Monday – Friday role.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage and Coordination of NPD projects, from formulation to approval.
• Implement develop plans in line with initial brief, focusing on costing and timescale.
• Responsible for managing the progression of each project.
• Cross collaboration with other departments
• Source new raw materials and suppliers.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Experience within an NPD function within an FMCG company, ideally dealing with bakery and confectionary products.
• Degree in food science preferred.
• Project management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
