Mechanical Engineer

Are you passionate about mechanical engineering and looking for a new challenge? We're seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to maintain, refurbish, and install a variety of mechanical equipment, including pumps, gearboxes, centrifuges, and rotating machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain, refurbish, and install various types of mechanical equipment
• Perform fault-finding and rectify issues promptly on pumps, valves, and associated pipework
• Demonstrate a proactive approach to health and safety, including RAMS and COSHH assessments
• Collaborate effectively within a team environment, communicating clearly and positively

Requirements:

• Completed a recognized apprenticeship in mechanical engineering
• Experience in welding, machining, and familiarity with the clean and wastewater industry (advantageous)
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards work
• Safety passport or equivalent certification required; confined space ticket and water hygiene and DOMS cards advantageous
• Full UK driving license preferred; willingness to travel up to 25% (preferred)
