Service Engineer

Our client is currently recruiting a Service Engineer to carry out the refurbishment and repair of mechanical equipment within their service centre where you will provide service support on the company's products, within customer sites as required, including offshore installations.

Responsibilities

Carry out service-related tasks and activities, workshop based and on site as required.

Supervision of seal and system installation on site from time to time, including offshore platforms.

Carry out preventative maintenance on all workshop equipment.

Assist with the development of service centre activities to ensure that customer service is always of the highest achievable standard.

Maintain computerised customer records.

Carry out warehouse, goods inward and despatch duties as required.

Participate in customer training programs if required.

Ensure that general housekeeping within the workshop area is of the highest achievable standard.

Recommend methods by which processes can be managed efficiently by the entire company to improve the workload and throughput.

Carry out duties and ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation, company regulations & procedures, plus ISO Quality standards.

Any other duties reasonably required or commensurate with the post.

Qualifications

HNC in Mechanical Engineering

Experience in repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment

Knowledge in Health and Safety

Proven technical skills

Excellent communication and time management skills
