Sheet Metal Worker

Our client who are a World leading Manufacturer within their specialist field are recruiting for experienced Time-served Sheet Metal Workers to work at their Glasgow Plants.  This is a permanent role that offers the chance to work on several huge Multi-million Pound projects for the company.  This is an opportunity to operate in a new innovative and competitive working environment. It is important that you are flexible about how you work and what you work on and are a real team player who is willing to get involved.

What you’ll be doing:

• Manufacturing and installing ventilation and furniture
• Working to engineering standards, striving for quality right first time
• Using a range of hand tools        
• Hand skills required for manufacturing & installation purposes
• Understanding of manufacturing and installation drawings

Your skills and experiences:

• Trade papers, e.g., formal apprenticeship (ability to provide papers)
• Clear understanding of SHE risks awareness and manufacturing processes
• Must be comfortable working in confined spaces and or at height
• Safety certification i.e., SHE induction, COSHH awareness, working at height
• Background in major construction / manufacturing environment
