Production Technician

 Brightwork are pleased to be recruiting for a Production Technician on behalf of our client based in Port Glasgow, on a full time, permanent basis.

Working with this client, duties will include but are not limited to:

• Construct/wire mechanical and electrical components with precision and attention to detail.
• Identify and repair faults.
• Support the Production & Inventory Manager to ensure products are securely packed ready for dispatch.
• Regularly conduct quality control tests to ensure all products meet Safer Group’s rigorous quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve any production issues.
• Equipment maintenance in collaboration with the engineering team
• Continuously seek ways to improve processes.
• Ensure the workshop is risk free in line with HSE policies and procedures.
• Support other members of the engineering/production team as and when required.
• Carry out any other ad-hoc duties as and when required.

Experience:

• Manufacturing and or electrical production experience
• Working to agreed timelines.
• Proficient use in both electrical and hand tools
• Excellent problem solving and attention to detail skills.
• Ability to work independently and challenge the status quo.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in fast paced environment.

Qualifications:

• Clean Driving Licence
• Valid CSCS Card (Preferred)
