Brightwork in partnership with our world-leading Seafood client, MOWI, has a fantastic opportunity to work as a Production Operative in their state-of-the-art salmon production facility at Rosyth, near Dunfermline.

FREE TRANSPORT is now offered from Glasgow City Centre.

Production Operatives have full-time, ongoing work, with many opportunities for career progression and permanent roles with MOWI.

This is a full-time role, working Monday - Friday on an 8-hour fixed shift. The hours of work are:
- 7am to 3:30pm

The starting rate of pay for Production Operatives is £12.00 per hour, with overtime paid at £16.58 per hour.

Production Operatives can also progress into more skilled or advanced roles which are paid at the following rates:

Skilled: £12.41 per hour, with overtime paid at £18.62 per hour.
Advanced: £12.89 per hour, with overtime paid at £19.34 per hour.

If you have previous experience working in a seafood environment you will be eligible for a £500 bonus, paid at the end of 10 weeks!

Your Time at Work

As a Production Operative, you will be working on a line to prepare salmon to customer specifications. Other duties include:

- Monitoring the production process and carrying out basic testing and quality checks
- The finished product will also need to be packaged correctly ready for shipment.

Full training will be provided, and you will have the opportunity to learn from highly experienced individuals.

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect Production Operative will have great coordination and dexterity to prepare the salmon efficiently and at a pace.
You will:

- Have an eye for detail and work well as part of a large team.
- Have patience and the ability to work well under pressure are essential.
- Have a certain level of fitness due to manual handling and the nature of the role.

Experience as a Production Operative, Warehouse or Factory Operative is desirable, however, full training will be provided.
