Brightwork are looking for Forklift Truck Drivers and Warehouse Operatives with Material Handling Equipment experience for our established client in Uddingston.

You will require an in-date Forklift Licence to be considered for this role.

Your Time at Work
The role will operate on a two-week rotating shift pattern:
- Early Shift: 6am to 2:30pm
- Back Shift: 2:00pm to 10:30pm

Day to day tasks are:

• Help run the warehouse safely and smoothly.
• Support the making of food products to high quality standards.
• Keep the warehouse and yard clean, tidy, and ready for inspections at all times.
• Check stock levels and make sure products are stored correctly and rotated properly.
• Complete stock counts and investigate any stock issues.
• Use warehouse computer systems to manage stock and paperwork.
• Train and support new warehouse team members.
• Help lead the team and cover for the Shift Manager when needed.
• Work with planning, engineering, quality, and distribution teams.
• Follow all health and safety, hygiene, and quality procedures.

• Has experience in a warehouse, food production, or fast-paced working environment.
• Confident using computers and warehouse systems.
• Good at solving problems and finding solutions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Takes pride in working safely and following procedures.
• Has good attention to detail and works accurately.
• Can work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Positive, flexible, and willing to help others.
• Motivated to achieve targets and improve ways of working.
• Holds either a Counterbalance or Combi-lift FLT licence
• Aislemaster, Stacker, and Electric Pallet Truck experience and qualifications are beneficial but not essential.

• Pay is £15.83 per hour
• Guaranteed 40 hour work week with occasional overtime hours available
