About the role

Regional HR Advisor

Carryduff base | Multi-Site Role | Hybrid Travel Across Region

Brightwork are delighted to be supporting a leading organisation within the industrial services sector in the recruitment of a Regional HR Advisor. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join a growing business with multiple locations across Northern Ireland and Scotland. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will provide proactive, commercially focused HR support to managers and employees across a multi-site operation, helping to drive a positive, compliant and high-performing workplace culture.

The Role

As Regional HR Advisor, you will act as a trusted partner to operational managers, delivering expert guidance across the full employee lifecycle. This is a diverse and hands-on role offering exposure to employee relations, recruitment, performance management, organisational change, employee engagement and HR project work.

Working closely with stakeholders across multiple sites, you will help ensure the consistent application of HR policies and best practice while supporting operational and strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice and support on employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, investigations and performance management.
  • Partner with managers to develop effective people management practices and solutions.
  • Support end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Ensure employee records and HR systems are maintained accurately and confidentially.
  • Produce and analyse HR metrics including absence, turnover, headcount and employee relations activity.
  • Support payroll and benefits administration by ensuring accurate and timely employee data management.
  • Assist with learning and development initiatives, employee engagement activities and wellbeing programmes.
  • Support organisational change projects, restructures and consultations.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple locations and provide regular on-site HR support.

About You

We are keen to speak with experienced HR professionals who can demonstrate:

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification or working towards qualification.
  • Proven experience in a generalist HR Advisor role.
  • Strong employee relations experience managing a variety of casework.
  • Experience supporting managers within a multi-site environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building and influencing skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience using HR systems and interpreting HR data and reporting.

Ideal Background

While applications are welcomed from a range of sectors, experience gained within a manufacturing, engineering, industrial, logistics, facilities management, waste management or other operationally focused environment would be particularly advantageous.

Experience supporting a geographically dispersed, multi-site workforce is highly desirable.

What's on Offer

  • 25 days annual leave plus public holidays.
  • Opportunity to join a well-established and growing organisation.
  • A varied and autonomous regional HR role with significant stakeholder exposure.
  • Ongoing professional development and career progression opportunities.

Interested?

If you are a proactive HR professional looking for your next challenge within a fast-paced multi-site environment, we'd love to hear from you.
