This successful food distribution organisation is seeking a Stock/ Warehouse Planning Coordinator to ensure the successful intake of fresh food produce in line with plans, checking the quality and allocating to the correct storage area to ensure stock rotation.
The key responsibilities of the role will include liaising with hauliers to ensure the timely delivery of the fresh produce and working on the planning system to ensure it is correctly input, monitored and allocated to retailers/ distributors. The role will also involve working at heights to check the produce quality as it is stored and some manual handling.
Strong excel skills will be required to track/plan stores, along with experience in a stock/ warehouse/distribution/retail environment. You should be computer literate and experience with food stocks would be advantageous. A forklift truck (FLT) license would be advantageous, though is not essential. Full training will be given. Similarly, experience in fresh produce would be preferred, though also not essential.
The role will be on permanent early shift, so candidate availability should reflect this requirement.
