QHSE & Facilities Manager

Brightwork are supporting our production client in Cumbernauld with the recruitment of a QHSE & Facilities Manager.

This is a permanent role that will be responsible for developing and implementing a H&S framework, whilst overseeing the general maintenance of the plant and site facilities. We’re looking for an experienced individual who has covered off both areas in great detail, and who can confidently take up the mantle of Site Champion with regards to all QHSE projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Implement QHSE policies, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and other requirements.
  • Carry out internal site inspections and audits.
  • Appoint and manage any required contractors for site facilities work.
  • Provide training to all staff on Health & Safety matters including risk assessments, COSHH and general housekeeping.
  • Ensure that the site remains compliant with all relevant legal and other FM requirements.
  • Act as the lead for all facilities management issues on the site, including planned and reactive maintenance, fire safety and security systems, grounds maintenance and waste management.
  • Manage facilities management sped in accordance with agreed budgets.

To be considered for this role you must have a strong background in a similar QHSE management role, and ideally hold you NEBOSH General Certificate or an equivalent H&S qualification.
