We are currently recruiting an Experienced Skilled Operator to work for our Drinks Industry Client, an independent distiller and blender of some of the finest and rarest whiskies in the world. This role will be based at their Glen Catrine bonded warehouse and bottling facility in Ayrshire.
Successful candidates will work out of their Logistic function. This will include their inbound areas co-ordinating dry goods into the site and outbound areas coordinating the despatch of finished goods. Our aim is to ensure customers receive their orders on time and in full every time, producing the safest, highest quality in the most cost-effective manner.
Reporting to the Stock Team Leader, the skilled operator position will predominantly be responsible for the counting, moving, reconciliation and accurate reporting of finished goods across the warehousing function
Immediate start is available for this position, with the potential for a permanent role with the company on showing the correct skills, attitude and potential to work at their fast pace.
Experience & Qualifications:
An up to date FLT licence is essential, with good numeracy skills, strong computer skills (Microsoft Office suite), great communication, determination to succeed and resilience are all key skills essential in the successful candidate. Experience working in a stock handling position is also required albeit not necessarily from within the spirits drinks industry. The site is approx. 18 months into a Warehouse Management System implementation - applicants with experience of a WMS, in particular the Indigo WMS system, will be advantageous
Rate of pay is £9.02 per hour
