Manufacturing Shift Technician

Our specialist manufacturing client is currently recruiting Engineering Shift Technicians to carry out planned and reactive maintenance and associated tasks on equipment.

Accountabilities

Carrying out routine checks and maintenance on equipment and associated services
Carry out repairs and modifications to equipment and services
Support and deliver projects to upgrade and install new equipment and services
Experienced in fault finding techniques and continuous improvement methodologies
Ability to analyse data, report findings and recommend improvement actions
Collect and maintain documentation to meet safety, quality and project compliance and legislation
Provide operational shift cover
Control of documentation for Quality management and maintenance management systems

Skills and experience desired:

Minimum HNC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering discipline
Proven post qualification experience of working within a multi-disciplined maintenance environment is essential
Experience of maintaining a wide range of process equipment Competent in the use of CMMS systems
Knowledge of statistical tools and MS Office applications. Experience of working in a rotating shift team

 

Please note the shift pattern for this role is 4 shifts on and 4 shifts off. This will be rotating between dayshift and nightshift. The dayshift hours are 7am to 7pm and the nightshift hours are 7pm to 7am
