Brightwork are supporting our market-leading, global drinks client, with the recruitment of a Sourcing Leader who will be responsible for their Luxury division.

This is a permanent position that will be responsible for managing their procurement strategy and supplier performance management for the luxury category. You’ll be accountable for managing external spend and driving the development of a high performing global supply base, to maximise service, performance and added value.

Responsibilities for the role will include:

• Creating and delivering the category plan in alignment with procurement and business objectives, including global tender and benchmarking activities.
• Leading and managing effective supplier relationship management for the category, utilising supplier scorecards and performance management tools, to ensure service and quality requirements are met.
• Coach, direct and delegate work to direct report and support career planning and development opportunities.
• Support NPD projects with supplier appraisal and selection, promoting innovation and sustainable solutions whilst ensuring pricing is market competitive and within budget.
• Accountable for optimising external spend for the category and delivering cost/value/business benefit.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in procurement, with a detailed knowledge of category management, and an understanding of implementing leading edge category strategies. You’ll have strong negotiation and planning skills, with the ability to think and operate strategically.
